The Economical Hewlett Packard LaserJet 6L Printer

The attractive, low-priced HP LaserJet 6L printer looks to have been created by Hewlett-Packard to be a bargain-priced laser printer, yet also still full of the kinds of features appreciated by many fans of these types of printers. It combines decent print speed and durability that complements Hewlett-Packard’s reputation for reliability and fairly predictable quality of printing.

There’s no USB port, but that should hardly be a concern when one considers that one is getting a laser printer for about $70 (when one can find it for sale). Most people really aren’t that concerned, either, because the bargain that one is getting for this particular laser printer usually exceeds the concern one might have about the USB port.

Installed memory is only one megabyte, which can be upgraded to only 9 MB, but the printer will be making use of the computer processing power available from the computer to which it’s been connected, so that’s no big issue either. All of its activities will be controlled by a 24 MHz microprocessor, which is another reason why it produces about six pages per minute.

Storage capacity is enough, at 100 sheets of paper. All of it fits into one tray, which can accommodate a number of different kinds of media stock, including envelopes, labels, transparencies and plain paper. The range of paper sizes it can print out on is fairly nice, given the low price that the Hewlett-Packard will go for.

This HP printer features a monthly duty cycle of 6,000 pages which, considering how inexpensive the printer is, is really quite impressive. Its included printer cartridge is good for 2,500 sheets. For anyone using the 6L as a personal printer, this means there will be quite a lot of printing that can be carried out. It also means that the printer features very low costs per page in terms of printing.

When taken as a whole, it’s easy to see that the extremely affordable HP LaserJet 6L printer is likely to remain a sought-after laser monochrome printer for quite some time. It can run off of Windows NT 4.0, as well as IBM OS/2 and even Microsoft DOS operating systems and it also features good durability to go with that robust printer cartridge. In truth, there’s actually not much to complain about, especially when it only costs about $70 for a new one, if one such can be found anymore.

The question of which advertising model is better is hard to answer. The decision to enter internet advertising in CPA or PPC would typically depend on several factors including circumstances that are unique for every advertiser. The better model can perhaps be determined based on individual conditions. Despite the lack of a clear answer though, it is certain that CPA is a viable alternative to PPC.
