Obsessive use of computer or dependency is known as Computer Addiction. Withdrawal symptoms are a result of this kind of addiction. There are also examples of obsessive recreational users dating back to the first release of computer games from various company such as Nintendo and Sega. Kids usually fall for this kind of addiction where they would rather play “Adventures of Mario” at home than play baseball with their friends, skip meals and sleep late. Constant computer gaming can cause someone to place more emotional value on events within the game, ignoring the things that are happening in their real lives.
